Mike earned his real estate license in 1986, after challenging and rewarding careers at a Fortune 500 company and in a family-owned small business. Since starting his real estate career, Mike has consistently been a Top Producer, earning membership in the Fayette County Board of REALTORS® Million Dollar Club each year he has been in real estate. That accomplishment has earned Mike the prestigious PHOENIX Award, an award that has been earned by only a handful of REALTORS® in this area. In addition, Mike has served in leadership positions in the Fayette County Board of REALTORS® for the past few years as President, President-Elect and Vice-President of the 400+-member Board. In 1997, Mike was voted REALTOR® of the Year by the Fayette County Board of REALTORS®. Mike has also served in leadership positions in the Georgia Chapter of the Council of Residential Specialists, a national organization dedicated to professionalism in residential real estate sales. Mike has served as President and Vice-President of the Georgia Chapter CRS. Mike is also a State Registered Real Property Appraiser, giving Mike exceptional resources when determining the value of a home.

The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation is the highest offered in residential real estate. Certification requires not only extensive training, but also significant experience in residential sales. CRS designees are the "cream of the crop" when it comes to sales & marketing of residential real estate. Less than 5% of all REALTORS® nationwide have earned the CRS designation and they are consistently the Top Producers nationally. The CRS designation is awarded by The Residential Sales Council of the National Association of REALTORS®. |

The Graduate, REALTORS® Institute (GRI) designation is earned by completing 3 weeks of specialized residential sales training, covering subjects such as: finance, legal, customer relations, buyer agency, ethics, etc. Less than 10% of all REALTORS® nationwide have earned the GRI designation. The GRI designation is awarded by the REALTOR® Institute. |

The Certified New Home Sale Professional (CSP) designation is earned by completing 14 full days of specialized new home sales training. The designee gains a broad knowledge of how the home building business works, including financing, customer service, construction techniques and Fair Housing Laws. The CSP designation is awarded by the National Sales and Marketing Council, an arm of the National Association of Home Builders. |

Although buyers agency is relatively new in the Atlanta area, requests by Buyers for representation in the purchase of a home has grown by leaps and bounds. The Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC) is the oldest and best known organization dedicated solely to the representation of Buyers. REBAC was purchased by The National Association of REALTORS® in 1996 and the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation offered by REBAC is the only one of its kind approved by NAR. No better training is available for learning how best to represent Buyers in residential real estate sales. |

The Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation is awarded by the Employee Relocation Council (ERC). Less than 1% of all REALTORS® nationwide have earned the prestigious CRP designation. A CRP is specially trained to assist relocating families with all aspects of their move. This designation is the one most large relocation companies look for when referring their transferees to local real estate agents, whether on the selling side or the buying side. |
